Gotta love 'em groupons. Oh, and steak (Grill 41, Ottawa)

Ryan and I have a not-so secret obsession with groupons (or any other site: dealradar, dealfinder, you name it). Really, you can't go wrong as long as you don't get sucked into buying useless coupons for stuff you don't even like or want! We've mastered our skill pretty well it seems, when it comes to picking new restaurants to try .. That's how we found the Earl of Sussex wings (while still living in Vancouver, actually). But I guess this post isn't about wings, is it? My bad. I get side-tracked... ;)

On a whim, we each decided to buy groupons to Grill 41 for a meal of:

- King prawn appetizer
- Rib eye steak (plus sides)
- Striploin steak (plus sides)
- Banana bread pudding dessert with nutmeg ice-cream and home-made caramel sauce
- Botella de vino

= $100 (that's with the groupon and tip)

So worth it. And such a deal.

Mmmm... meat.

Summary: check out dealradar.com for daily deals; it compiles a list of local sites (i.e. groupon, deal finder, etc)
